In this workshop, theatermaker Tara Ricasa and casting director Coco Kleppinger team up to further clarify the business of acting--especially
for young actors starting out--and will cover various topics including agents, managers, film/tv auditions, self-taping, self-producing, and self-care.
➡️ Coco Kleppinger is a casting associate for Rich Delia Casting, an independent casting director, and professor at UCLA's school of Theater, Film and Television. Before that she was an actress for 17 years. In casting she has worked on films such as IT and IT Chapter 2, The Disaster Artist, Shazam!, Annabelle Comes Home, and the newly streaming dance film Work It. She comes from Wyoming and currently lives in LA.
➡️ A San Diego native, Tara Ricasa has worked professionally in both CA and NY as an actor, puppeteer, director, production manager, and producer. She works regularly as a teaching artist with Center Theatre Group, Geffen Playhouse, La Jolla Playhouse, The Old Globe and others. Most recently, she joined the staff of PACER's National Bullying Prevention Center as the LA Puppet Program Coordinator. Proud member AEA.
